1. Where we sell
Orange Digital Group LLC sells to customers located in the United States. We do not market to, solicit orders from, or knowingly accept orders from customers outside the United States. Orders that appear to originate outside the United States may be cancelled and refunded in full.
2. Why we restrict sales geographically
Restricting our market keeps our obligations simple and verifiable. It means our tax position, our consumer law obligations and our sanctions exposure all relate to a single jurisdiction, and it removes any ambiguity for our customers, our payment provider and our bank.
3. Sanctions compliance
We comply with the economic sanctions programmes administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the United States Department of the Treasury. We do not sell to, transact with, or provide products to:
- Persons or entities on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, or any other OFAC restricted party list
- Persons located in, ordinarily resident in, or organised under the laws of a comprehensively sanctioned country or region
- Any person where the transaction would be prohibited under United States law
Our payment provider performs sanctions screening on transactions as part of its own compliance programme. Where a transaction is flagged, we do not proceed with it.
4. Export control classification
Our products are general published educational material intended for public distribution. Information that is published and generally available to the public is not subject to the Export Administration Regulations as controlled technology. Our guides contain no encryption software, no technical data relating to controlled items, and no defence articles or services.
Accordingly, we do not hold or require an export licence. If our product range ever changed such that a licence were required, we would obtain one before offering the product for sale.
5. Your obligations
By purchasing from us you confirm that you are located in the United States, that you are not a restricted party under any applicable sanctions programme, and that you will not export, re-export or transfer any guide you buy in breach of United States export controls or sanctions.
6. Screening and refusal
We may refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe it would breach export controls or sanctions, or where the customer’s location cannot be established. Where we cancel a paid order for this reason, we refund it in full. We are not obliged to explain a refusal in detail where doing so would itself breach applicable law.
7. Reporting a concern
